What I'm Loving Wednesday

Today I'm linking up to What I'm Loving Wednesday for the first time.

First off though - can I just say that I have to be back at work in less than one month, officially?!?! Contract time starts Aug 9th, kids start Aug 14th. HOLY MOLY that makes it feel like there's no time left.  Mr C keeps reminding me that I've got 1/3 of my summer left, a whole month, 4 weeks...so I shouldn't start stressing yet.  And he is right (shhh, don't tell him).  But still, the pressure is on to be R.E.A.D.Y by the 9th. It's not like on the 9th I get to work the whole time in the room until the 14th.  There's still meetings and then lesson planning etc.  AHHHHH! I"m just going to pretend to that little stress-out didn't happen and focus on  enjoying the rest of  my summer with the girls :)

Back to What I'm Loving Wednesday then.

1. Rainy Mornings

That's exactly what today is...rainy. Thundered all night. ahhhh, love waking up to it still rainy, the house dark, and everything outside is still and quiet.  It does mean that we'll be doing inside activities today but still, I love a rainy night (and mornings)

2.  My Garmin

I have officially started my training for my first ever half marathon this fall and the husband bought me a Garmin 310 to help track my runs.  I've used it maybe 3-4 times but I love the gadget and have figured out how to use it to motivate me mid-run . I even convinced him to wear it on his run last night. Score

3. Blogger

This may sound silly, but I've started digging into blogger a bit more and trying to figure out how to do some of the amazing things other bloggers do to customize their blog. Expect a blog overhaul soon ...

4. Refinding Digital Scrapbooking

This project to learn how to customize Blogger and make my own templates has me delving back into the world of digital scrapbooking.  I'm wishing I hadn't deleted all my backgrounds and elements from when I did it forever ago. But since I did that just means I get to peruse the internet and find more! It's amazing how much easier it is to find the patterns and designs I'm wanting.  I haven't created any actual digi-scrap pages yet, but loving all the options out there. I found I would spend hours creating but never printed, the last time I did this. Not sure what to expect this go round, hang tight and it might become a Monday Made It post
